I have been working out a play list and have the Battle Hymn of the Republic down pretty good, but in all fairness to my Southern friends, thought it only fitting if I could play Dixieland as well. Trying to save myself some time, does anyone have a copy of Dixieland in the Alto Cleft or know of where I can purchase it?

Thanks

Is that the name of a piece? I've heard of "I Wish I Was In Dixie".
Maybe I can transpose it for you if you have the piece that you are asking about in Treble Clef. I'm pretty quick with Finale.

I'm pretty sure that's the name, the same as the piece you've heard. A tune associated with the South the same as the Battle Hymn of the Republic is associated with the north.

By that do you mean you now understand my question or you have the score?

Sorry, no. I didn't catch a question. What is your question again?

I got it, meaning I hear what you are saying. :) Probably the same piece.

Thanks

now that I understand, you understand my former question. My latter question has been answered.

Thanks. I may just as well continue working on this by ear as I almost seem to have (my version) down...
