Hi Administrators! Congratulations. Violaman.com has now completed a year of service to the viola society. This year I hope to see more members' activity with lots of video participation to take the site to a new height. Thank you and good luck.

I missed it too, and even missed the post by about 6 weeks. 
Thanks for the update jojo. I too hope to see a lot more participation from violists around the globe.

Bunch of great hobbies. You can maybe invent something cool for the viola using leather.

I've been thinking about it but haven't come up with many good ideas yet. Here are a few.
1. A Carved leather cover for a chinrest that would be able to slip on and yet hold reasonable shape.
2. Carved or simply plain stained leather accessory pouches/organizers for inside the case
3. A Carved leather cover for the lid of a violin or viola case
If you guys can come up with any other ideas for instrument related items that could be embellished with leather please let me know. I am a master leather carver and have been carving for the last 8 years I will post some pictures (If I can find them) of my work if anyone would like to see them.
