Today I added 7 new X-mas pieces, making a total of 9, hopefully in time to impress all your friends and family. [Image Can Not Be Found] Please enjoy. Sorry for lack of fingerings but a solution is to print them out and download the fingering chart found under the Viola Learning Tools menu and write them in. I may do it later if I find some spare time.[Image Can Not Be Found]

Here comes some handy third position exercises for viola. Practice shifting slowly at first. Slide on each finger from first to first, second to second, and third to third and steadily increase tempo for best results.
Try to memorize the feeling of where your hand ends up, either by feeling a guide when reaching the position or by memorizing the feeling in your left elbow when bent the proper amount. Remember to rely strongly on your hearing both in anticipation and arrival to the note.
