Practice Progression

As I see on Fiddlerman.com I thought I'd start a thread here.

Kinda confusing myself and not sure where to start as I see much more posts over on Fiddlerman.com. I love many of the ideas over there and as I play the Viola (and rarely the violin) want to be more involved. I love the group jam sessions, (going to post Swallowtail soon) and the practice challenges to document progression with a tune, (Paddy on the Turnpike). Any help from the administrators as to where I should put the post is greatly appreciated. I know this site has a smaller audience and have no problems cross posting or just staying with one forum.

Ok, I have posted Swallowtail over at FM.com and will post Paddy here. These are the two tunes I hope to use as my benchmarks as I embark on a new practice challenge. I only recently started Paddy. Perhaps late November with the intention of performing at an Adult Student Jam later next week at the Music School. Watching the video I look horrible. I guess that's what I get for taking a song after working a 14 hour day the day I return home from a long trip.. Enjoy (I hope) and please any suggestions you can offer, please do.

Thanks for the post. We need more involvement for the forum to pick up here. There are obviously way less viola players which is probably why we don't get that much action here. Let's see Fiddlerman.com as a violin and viola site/forum. I don't want to give up on violaman.com though.
