Originally took Viola lessons on a student loaner in '63 when in Junior College, then life intervened. I now have one on order (cheapy but with good reviews) that should get here next week.
Sorry that this site doesn't have more interaction, but happy for its resources.

Still playing my viola, and loving it. Here is my latest video, from about a month ago, number 12 in the series! A Shaker tune, Simple Gifts. This is just 5 months after starting up this adventure.

I like this tune. I do it on my violin, viola and cello a lot. It is a fall back of mine.

@Ripton and @Mouse - Glad you like the tune, it has turned out to be one of my favorites. I know I heard it many years (decades?) ago, but only recently did it re-enter my consciousness.
