If you play viola and are knowledgeable of a good book to recommend, could you please recommend it?

I am not looking for videos or anything on an online site. I am looking for hardcopy books to learn from. I need to be able to hold them, flip the pages, mark them up, set them on my music stand, or just take them to a chair or outside to read the information, the non sheet music, parts. Nothing I have to download and print, an actual book. I mention this to let you know what I am looking for.

I am looking for information on how to hold it, maybe something with alternatives to allow for finger lengths. Explains the bowing and good illustrations, etc. Just a book that is more than music, but includes pieces to play in the book to use what is explained, is expected. I guess, basically a book with pieces, but also good explanations about what is being done, and maybe why.

My books have no basic instruction, just mostly pieces to play. I have been looking, but if you know if anything, please let me know.

Now, I know I am never going to become really good at this, not being negative, just a reality based on how many years it takes, even with an instructor, and my age. It is just reality. I am not going to be getting into really difficult pieces, again reality. But, I would like to be able to know the basics and then build, but I am positive that I am not holding it correctly, fingering it wrong, etc, I am not looking for a book full of advanced instruction and more detail than is actually needed. I have seen books like that. Not sure if there is anything like I am looking for. I will continue looking, but if you know of one, please feel free to mention it here. Thanks.
