I am toying with the idea of getting the Fiddlershop Ukulele.

Fiddlerman Signature Concert Ukulele Outfit

I was thinking it would be a good grab and go outside instrument. Then I watched a free lesson and the lesson used a sing that I do in my viola and violin. I have done it on my cello, but it sounds better on viola or violin.

At that point, it came to me. Why couldn't I do the chords I need for a particular song on my viola or cello and use it as backing for those songs? It wouldn't overpower it and would just give me some fill in those sections where there is a rest or whatever.

Any thoughts? It is not that expensive. Based in other items I have purchased at Fiddlershop, I am not worried about quality. I have always received quality merchandise from Fiddlershop.

I also like the idea of just grabbing it to take outside. I really don't like taking my cello or viola outside.

Any thoughts?

Please ignore any typos. My typing ability on a real typewriter did not transfer to these device key pads.
