Thought I'd just start a thread, Heaven knows we need more here. This tune is side by side with my Group project sheet music. When I get frustrated with one, I move over to the other. Maybe not a good plan, but at least it keeps me playing...
sharps and flats.. .uggh
I will post a video once I get line 1 down.
I like that song. We have had new sign ons, but they don't log in after
After I have the group project down better, I need, and want, to pick a song for my viola. I am thinking that I need to expand with a new song and maybe a different key? Does that help you advance and maybe get confidence to keep on pushing? I keep staying in my safety zone with keys. C# and F#.

That was good, @Ripton That is not am easy song to do. I gave up a couple years ago. I don't even think I have the sheet music any longer. You sounded really nice with it. Keep itmup! Hank you for this.

Sounds good @Ripton ; thanks for sharing! It's a nice tune. Keep us updated with your progress, we want to hear the rest ;--)
Il think it's a good idea to switch between two songs/pieces (or even more)… prevents getting too frustrated with one in particular. Taking a break, rather than insisting on something; can actually be helpful at times.

I agree wtw. For the reasons you stated. Also, there may be things in one song that are giving you issues, that for some reason you sail through in the others. Gives you a place to look and see why. Or, they may have the same issue, so you are working in the issue in different songs.

The orchestral version -here for instance- is actually sharper on a few notes (I have no idea what the actual notes are, I should go and get my viola for that). But there must be several adaptations/variations.
Anyway, there can be mistakes too in sheet music. If what's written doesn't sound right to you, stick with what you like best.
