I will definitely be giving this a try...

Part 2 is a continuation of the exercise with a violin. It's similar enough to Violaman's own lesson at this point that I'm not including it here. sf-wink

Wow this is hard to do without a viola. Its like trying to pat my head and rub my stomach (or is it the other way around?) Its nice to have an exercise for before I have a viola

You are probably the only one who cares what you look like doing that. Others will probably wonder what you are doing with anxious curiosity.

Kind of like the violist that kept looking inside his jacket before each and every practice session and performance was being spied by one curious violinist. This went on for 10 years until the violist finally took off his jacket and hung it on his chair before going on his break. The violinist quickly went over to see what it was that the violist had been looking at before every rehearsal and performance. Inside the jacket there was a hand written note that said, "Viola - left hand, Bow - right hand"....
