Yeah, good plan.... although I'm mostly on fiddle, what I'll do is any new-to-me pieces I'm working on (on fiddle), I'll run off a viola version as well - see how that goes... I've got 3 I'm messing-about with at the moment - Summertime (the one from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess), Ode to Joy, and Hallelujah (which, with what I'm *trying* to do with it is still a bit tricky - I've had a basic version more or less nailed for a while as a "go-to tune" but I'm trying to bring something more into it to kind of mimic a back-beat - you'll see what I'm getting at when I post it). I'm also working on Turkey in the Straw - nothing better than having a nice eclectic mix of genres... LOL
