Over at Fiddlerman.com I just kicked off a International Talk Like A Pirate Day project for the fiddlers there
But it don't just be for fiddle players. I also be for Viola players.
This don't be no competition, it be a 'party'. And it don't be matterin how long you've been fiddlin or how you be progressing with ya learnin, just be joinin in the fun and play a sea shanty for us all.
If you be needin some shanty sheet music you'll be findin some at this here link but the only be in treble clef. Sorry about that:

To start of the festivities I present for your approval the video below. It gets a bit scratchy and orible in spots, but I hope that it be to your likin. It be Amsterdam Maid on the fiddle and on the viola.
I be lookin forward to be hearin a shanty from the crew of this good ship SV Violaman. Aaaaaar

In the previous post, right click on the link to open a dialogue box and choose "Open link in a new window", then select (click in) the new window (or click on the new window's tab).

Hi Donald... I tried it again? Not sure why it won't embed. Usually it shows up on its own. I had no issue with the Scarborough Fair posting the video in the link. Thanks for your help.
