One has to REALLY want to play....you have to make time, even 15 minutes a day is better than the once a week 2 hour session. A stand or a string swing (hanger) is a great thing, when all you have to do is grab your violin vs unpacking it from the case you will find you pick it up more often.
Lots of nights I'll keep it near me while watching TV and play during commercials.
REMEMBER...you cant date the violin/viola...you have to Marry it
Somebody should tell my college profs LOL--as far as they are concerned you have NO life outside of their particular classroom. Good thing I'm out in May haha!

Yep, that would be the life. Maybe someday if Fiddlershop.com does well.
However, I have to admit that I won't be able to do it selling stings.
Hopefully other products will sell.
My price directly from Daddario for Zyex 4/4 set with aluminum D is $31.06 plus shipping to me if I don't order over $150 worth of stuff. This is my cost. Then when I sell I have to pay for postage to the customer and my merchant service takes 3% when I include all fees. There is also a monthly fee for the merchant services. Not to mention all my hosting costs and SSL certificate etc.
So if I sell strings at the same price as Amazon I'll loose money. I'm going to do it for a while just to get people to visit my site but it will not be fun.

But what will you do with all your spare time after May? Imagine!!!!
Play for hours?
I'm trying to stop myself from counting down the hours!! I keep seeing my violin, guitar, flute and keyboard--and then have to stick my head in a textbook YUCK!! But I shouldn't complain about it. Once I'm working I can afford to get more sheet music and supplies too, so at least all this school will have a purpose
