My summer assignment is to learn a few Aires, or is that airs? I have Arran Boat Song down pat, but not really sure what next. Suggestions anyone. Would a Waltz and Aire be considered the same? I can certainly find a ton of Waltzes out there.

waltzes and airs are different. One being waltzes are in 3/4 time. Lots of Irish and scottish airs to be found.

Bach : As the greatest expert and judge of harmony, he liked best to play the viola, with appropriate loudness and softness
