Bach : As the greatest expert and judge of harmony, he liked best to play the viola, with appropriate loudness and softness

I will get right on to this, later today. I think I need to work on the "dark seductive tone" of the viola, and reading that advice it seems I can make progress by watching myself with a viola in a mirror.

Incidentally, as a matter of curiosity, I am still finding that when I try to log in to Violaman.com I am re-directed to Wordpress, and if I then shut down the browser and re-launch the browser (Chrome) then I can log in to Violaman.com. I think there is something infecting this computer. The computer also does strange things like launching the browser when I go out of the room (I leave the computer just running the operating system) and when I come back some minutes later I find the computer has taken itself to online computer games and puzzles. The computer was checked for Malware, with some utility called Malwarebytes, without finding anything. (Forget all this, I mentioned it only out of curiosity value.)

Late news, one of the games is now on a sidebar, under the advertisement for Fiddlerman Pro-Arte strings, and above the element "Recent Forum Posts", there is a game BigFarm being advertised. BigFarm is one of the games that comes up at random on this computer when I am not even using the internet (and even when I am not in the room).

I've had the log-in issue for quite a while, myself.

The Violaman website has been a popular target for hackers in the past - more in a "spammer" capacity than for any truly nefarious purposes - but annoying and disrupting just the same.

I'm running a Mac with Flash disabled, so I don't get any of the pop-ups or redirects you mentioned. Keep us informed of what you see, so that Pierre can hopefully address those issues.

Hopefully I have learned a few lessons on the way and can keep this site safe now.

Thanks for hanging in there.
