A violist in an orchestra was crying and screaming at the oboe player sitting directly behind him. The conductor asked, "What are you so upset about?"
The violist replied "The oboist reached over and turned one of the pegs on my viola and now it's all out of tune!"
The conductor asked "Don't you think you're overreacting?"
The violist replied "I'm not overreacting! He won't tell me which one!"

I play drums (guitar, flute, keyboards) and now viola. Maybe I should take up banjo and accordion, too, so I can cover all the universally-disrespected underdogs of the music world.
There must be something in my psyche that drives me to the musical black-sheep of the family...

Heck HC you think that's bad I had some violist/violinist tell me that I could tune my instrument by ear every time I picked it up and all I had to do was sing "Mary had a Little Lamb"...what he failed to realize, even after I demonstrated, was that I can't sing
