Is it time to move the forums off the front page, now that we have a full set of Learning Tools to entice new visitors? When the forums were the only area of growth/interest here on Violaman.com, it made sense to have them be the first thing a new visitor saw when entering the site. Now that there are matching tools for beginners (and a clear reason to revisit regularly), perhaps we should move them to the front of the site's online presence.
I'm wondering if we should reorganize the site to fall al little more in line with the look/function of Fiddlerman.com.
I finally ... FINALLY ... can log in to the forums again.
My two cents on this is that Violaman should mirror the Home page of Fiddlerman.com. That is to say, new visitors should see the instructional side of the site first, and the social side second.
Since the social side can be a bit hit-or-miss, activity-wise, I think new folks should be immediately exposed to the (slowly) growing library of information that is available on Violaman.com
